I tried the Crappie Secret this weekend for the first time on Pymatuning Lake which is located in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Everything went exactly as your articles said it would. I started fishing around 11:00 P.M. and put it in the water. Within 5 minutes, small shad showed up and congregated around. Within an hour, there were hundreds of mixed size shad making counterclockwise rotations around the spot. The schooling shad kept getting thicker and thicker. I started fishing immediately after I turned it on and fishing was slow for the first ten minutes but as the shad schools kept getting thicker, the crappie moved in and I kept catching fish as fast as I could get a minnow on my hook. I was using a crappie rig with two hooks and I caught quite a few double headers. My fishing trip lasted for about three hours and I caught the biggest stringer of crappie that I ever caught. I have not fished in Lake Wawasee but my wifes family owns a lake house right off the waters edge. She has many memories at the house. It was burned down more than 10 years ago, but was rebuilt afterwards. It's a beautiful lake that we always enjoy visiting. Every year for July 4th celebration, there is a night parade where many boats dance along the lakes edge. Its an incredible site.

One of the prettiest lakes in the world, close to Telluride. My wife Deanna and daughter -in-law Tawna got interested in fishing in our little boat in this Beautiful Lake. Caught lots of nice trout and great hiking areas. Over the years our three sons and family have enjoyed the experience of Trout Lake and hiking to Hope Lake, along with our Grandkids.

Our family goes here quite a lot during the summer. Our favorite spot is on the southwest side. Some days we spend hours and hours pulling in Trout left and right. They tend to bite the worms as soon as they hit the water. Sometimes we do not even have the time to sit down. Great fun!

I have many memories fishing with my family here when I was growing up. Jackson lake is several hours from my hometown, Cortez.
For the most part, we would have great luck pulling in trout from the dam. My Grandmother sure loved this place.
I remember one time when my brothers and father and I rented a cabin to stay the night just outside the lake. We didnt catch anything, so as a boy I used a stick with a line attached to catch dozens of crawdad. We boiled them up and had a feast. Great memories!

Fished many days on the Ole Washita River. Those big cat fish loved worms and stink bait my dad made up for me. I never paid much attention the water moccasins swimming by but the rattle snakes and chiggers on land got a lot of my time and energy staying away. Great fishing experience as a kid growning up in Oklahoma. Did I mention the water was a little muddy but who noticed.

We lived in Albuquerque in the early 70s when Toten opened for fishing. Our family came up several times and caught nice 12 to 15 inch trout on fire balls. Havent fished Toten in years but our sons caught huge cat fish while attending Cortez High School within 3 miles of Toten.

Fished this little lake when I was 12 years old on the south end. Could'nt bait up fast enough pulling in 8 to 10 inch trout using worms, cheese, fire balls. Anything I threw in produced a nice pan size trout. Beautiful day and great memories.

Caught my biggest Rainbow Trout at Jackson Lake and 3 sons were with me. Weighed in at 8 1/2 lbs, woops, make that 4 1/2 lbs. My sons may read this, 21 inches long, as I recall. A memory I shall never forget. Used fire balls, salmon eggs.
