Tucked Half Blood: Can be used to tie two pieces of line together. Usually used to attach hooks, swivels, flies, bubble floats and other items of hardware to a main line.

  • Bring the end of the line through the center of the hook or swivel, or through the loop of the line to be joined.
  • Twist the end around the standing part about 5 times.
  • Bring the free end through the loop by the center of the hook.
  • Bring the free end through the larger loop now formed to produce the tucked half bloodknot.
  • Draw the knot together.
