Scaffold Knot: A simple knot that lets the hook swing freely on the line.

    • Put a 7 inch loop of line through the center.
    • Put the upper part between thumb and forefinger, making a loop.
    • Make two loops over the double part, holding them between thumb and forefinger.
    • Pass the end through the two loops, plus the first loop made.
    • The knot can now be tightened and worked down against the eye of the hook.
